Sixth graders are working making belts in leather club!

The learning doesn’t stop at Northlake Middle School at 3:05. When the bell rings, numerous scholars choose to be involved in after school activities that challenge them to learn new skills and make a difference in our school. Check out what is being offered this spring: 

The leather guild is lead by Mrs. Zavala. Scholars are stamping and dying their own leather belts!  Making Belts

Checkmate! Ms. Murray is teaching these scholars the ins and outs of chess.  Chess

Student Council, hosted by Mrs. Head and Ms. Marchok, just finished planning the glow dance. Next, they’re planning for a movie night in April. Meeting of the Minds

Dr. Hirose is hosting a coding and AI club. They're learning to code using Scratch with AI and facial recognition.

The National Junior Honor Society is always looking for ways to give back to the community and school. They can be seen here writing personalized thank you cards. Writing Thank You Notes
